WaveGuide.find_cuton(f, **kwargs)

Returns the number of cut-on modes for the specified frequency f Hz.

Parameters

• f (float) – Frequency in Hz.

• kwargs (additional arguments) –

Returns

Number of cut-on modes. Symmetric modes are counted as two modes, i.e., after the first cut-on in a circular duct, three modes can propagate.
